Last night, Billabong's Design for Humanity went mad, the runway show was unreal, their SS13 line is going to be insane, The Lumineers and The Joy Formidable played amazing sets, and the beers flowed like wine, while the women instinctively flocked like the salmon of san juan capistrano.  Here's proof-

Kai Neville of Modern Collective and Lost Atlas fame have just released the trailer for his newest film "Dear Surburbia."  You can watch it on Vimeo here

Kai calls the film an excursion into the absurd.” This flick stars Dane Reynolds, John John Florence, Yadin Nicol, Kolohe Andino, Conner Coffin, Craig Anderson, Mitch Coleborn, Dion Agius, Evan Geiselman, Chippa Wilson, Dillon Perillo, Jack Freestone and Taj Burrow. It’s filmed in Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia and The Caribbean.

Our good friend Matt recently launched an incredibly wonderful backpack company that is so much more than just a silly backpack company.  They are called stone + cloth, and each purchase goes to supporting education in Tanzania (thats in Africa).  Their slogan is "carry an education" and you can too!  Read much more about them below.

designing for humanity

Billabong's Design for Humanity is back this week.  Their annual event is in its 6th year, and although the line up cant event touch last year's (Edward Sharpe, Hanni el Khatib, The Hundred in The Hands), it will still be a rad party. 

Featuring a runway show of Billabong's SS13 collection, plus live art, DJ's, tacos, booze, and performances by The Lumineers, Walk The Moon, and The Joy Formidable (plus some other band thats not very good), it should rule.  See you there nerd -
