This post is about one of my favorite bands going right now, and the neat thing is that they are not even a band, they are him, and him is 22 year old Trevor Powers (yep 22!).  Under YL, Powers put out one of the most powerful and subtle and moving albums i have ever heard, called "the year of hibernation" and is so dreamy and nostalgic it'll have you remembering moments that haven't even happened.

The collection is made up of mid-century pulp like images with really ominous undertones and creepy names (1:18pm Silverlake Drive, 2012), and also features a short film, Le Petite Mort (below)  Show is running thru May at M+B Gallery in West Hollywood and is one of the best things ever
